Back to College for Hairdresser of the Year

On Monday 4th April, Lewis Moore, who recently won the prestigious Hairdressers Journal’s Midlands Hairdresser of the Year, paid a special visit to Hairdressing students at Walsall College.

Lewis, Salon Director for Francesco Group Streetly, attended the College’s state of the art Wisemore Campus with a team of his staff, many of whom are former Walsall College students.

During his visit, Lewis and his team presented to students about their experiences in the hairdressing industry and offered advice to them for success in the hairdressing industry.

Lewis and his team also provided a series of exciting live demonstrations, giving students a master class in the latest cutting and styling techniques.

The high profile visit is part of a ten year partnership between Walsall College and Francesco Group at the Graduate Academy. The state of the art training salon gives talented hair and beauty students the opportunity to gain real industry experience of working in a professional salon during their studies.
