“Since joining Walsall College I have completed HND Business and AAT Level 3. I am now studying AAT Level 4 which is the equivalent to the 2nd year of a degree. When I have finished my course here, I am going to take a top up degree at the Birmingham City University and then progress to a Masters.

“The course has been great – I think it is good to study here before university. Some of my friends went straight to university and have found it hard. I feel very lucky to have got a year’s experience working at a higher level – I know what to expect at university.

The education system is very different to China and I enjoy the style of teaching. It helps you think for yourself more and we get to go on trips. I enjoy studying English here as it is very interactive and the tutors are like friends you can go to if you have a problem. The course has been very flexible and I have also gained 2 certificates in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
