Walsall Goes Global
A group of Walsall College students recently made the most of the College’s video conference facilities, by holding a conference with members of Chita Technical College in the Russian Far East. Over 100 students took part in the conference overall which aimed to open up communication between students from different countries.
The video conference was extremely successful, allowing students to discuss issues of cultural exchange, including college life, university, employment and social activities.
Video conferencing to other countries is part of the College’s commitment to the government initiative encouraging international co-operation between institutions. On the day, students found they had benefited from the experience and we are hoping to continue our strong links with them in the future.
