Agreement Affirms Links with China

Walsall College recently signed partnership agreements with two Chinese colleges. Both are in the Szechwan area of China and have a lot in common with us in relation to the work they do with their learners.

As a result of these agreements, we will be hosting visits from their staff who wish to learn more about our teaching methods and curriculum. The colleges will be working together to create opportunities for exchange visits and video conferencing, so that our students can learn about Chinese culture. We will also be delivering programmes in China via e-learning and delivering short introductory modules in their schools.

There will be great opportunities for staff and students to get involved, so look out for chances to take part which may be offered to your School. If you have ideas for engaging learners with their peers in Chengdu or Meishan, please get in touch with the International office.
