Fees are ‘per academic year’ and are subject to annual review. Examination and registration fees are included in the course fee. Accommodation fees and living expenses are not included.

Payment Conditions
You will need to send us either your full course fees for high risk countries or the deposit of 50% of course fees once a place on the course is offered. The balance must be paid 2 weeks before enrolment. Students will not be registered until the required fees have been paid. This deposit is non transferable from one term/year to another and can only be refunded if the student visa or entry clearance is denied.
Refund Policy
In order to obtain a refund, the student must provide proof in the form of a refusal notice from a British Embassy or the UK Border Agency (UKBA).
Refunds are subject to a £260 administration charge. There is no reduction in fees in the case of a late arrival or early departure from a course. A refund will NOT be considered if any of the following have occurred:
- The student has provided fraudulent or misleading information in their application.
- The student has broken the law or conditions of his/her visa and is thus required to leave the country as a consequence.
- The studentÂ’s visa is revoked as a consequence of not attending the course regularly.
- The student has broken the terms and conditions of admission to the college.
- The student wishes to leave the course without good reason.
No refunds will be given after a course/programme of study has started unless a course is discontinued and no suitable alternative is available. All applications for a refund must be made in writing, giving full details of why a refund is being asked for, and should be accompanied by any relevant documentary evidence.

Living Costs
All rooms are supplied with a bed, adequate storage space for clothing, a desk and chair within the accomodation and access to bath/shower and toilet facilities.
Walsall College has a varied portfolio of accommodation which is regularly updated. Our accommodation team ensures that all accommodation meets with our strict standards and that all premises comply with current safety requirements.
Types of accommodation:
The types of accommodation on offer can be divided into the following categories:
- Homestay £110 – £125 per week. Average cost £4830 for 42 weeks – this is where you have a room in a family home and your meals are provided. There is no additional charge for electricity and gas, but you will be charged for your
- Self-Catering £65 – £85 per week. Average cost £3150 for 42 weeks – here you have your own room sharing with a family or in some cases with a resident landlord/landlady, but you will cook for yourself. Bills for electricity and gas are usually included in weekly rent. Telephone calls are charged extra.

- Private accommodation £60 – £100 per week. Average cost £3780 for 42 weeks – this accommodation can consist of sharing either a house or flat with other students. All utility bills, gas, electric and telephone are excluded and have to be paid separately via bills or cards which are used in gas or electric meters. The costs are shared by other students in the house.
