What is an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships allow young people aged 16-18 to have a paid job and achieve qualifications including an NVQ level 2 or 3 as they work. Employers pay a minimum wage of £95 a week while Walsall College funds and delivers their training.

We offer apprenticeships in a wide range of sectors:

Hair, Painting and Decorating, Bricklaying, Carpentry and Joinery, Bench Joinery, Motor Vehicle, Business administration, Sign Making, Engineering, Active Leisure and Learning
