Level 3 Wisemore Campus 36 weeks Full Time
This course covers all aspects of managing the day to day running of a Leisure and or Fitness Centre. It involves a twelve week placement within the sector where all assessments will take place. It enables you to be competent within a leisure management organisation such as local authority, a private gym, a leisure centre or a community sport facility.
A minimum of 90% attendance is required for candidates to achieve the necessary skills. In additional to your course timetable you will have the opportunity to take part in the College ‘That Bit Extra’ programme which offers a full range of sporting activities, giving you experience and knowledge of playing a variety of sports. Private study is required.
Entry Requirements
By interview and initial assessment results plus you must have an NVQ Level 2 in sport and recreation or a similar subject. You must have experience within the industry.
Progression
A university degree or an NVQ Level 4 sport specific qualifications.
