Level 3 Various Locations, not at Walsall College sites. Apprenticeships
Embarking on the AASE programme allows young athletes to pursue a dream whilst providing them with vocational skills and academic qualifications. The AASE framework will provide a structured national training and development route for talented young athletes aged between 16 – 18 many of whom may go on to represent their country on the World, Olympic or Paralympic stage or gain professional contracts.
Entry Requirements
The selection process will include a basic Initial Assessment and an interview during which your suitability, commitment and interest for the programme will be determined. To be accepted onto the programme you will need to achieve Literacy and Numeracy at a minimum of Level 1 and it is preferable that you have GCSE grades A – C in Maths and English. Candidates must possess excellent skills within the chosen sport and acceptance on the programme shall be at the discretion of the delivery team.
