ESOL Intensive

Entry Level to Level 2 St Paul's Campus 11 Weeks Part Time

ESOL provision at Walsall College is offered at all levels from total beginners to Level 2. Accreditation is offered through the Edexcel Certificate in ESOL Skills for Life and teaching makes use of citizenship materials. Examinations take place every eleven weeks. Learners have a number of attendance options.

Classes are offered in the four language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening and learners undertaking the intensive programme are also offered a weekly tutorial in which to review their progress, practise their skills and plan for progression.

 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry qualifications although learners will undertake initial Assessment to gauge their skills level on entry. Admission is through informal interview.
