Access to Education Studies
Level 3 St Paul's Campus 1 Year Full Time
This course offers a route for adults to enter the teaching profession. The vocational unit specifications cover Science, English and History and provide a thorough preparation for higher education. Assessment is through a combination of assignments and examinations. Homework or private study is required.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry qualifications although learners will need to be over 19 years of age and be able to demonstrate at interview Level 2 competency in Literacy and a minimum of Level 1 - 2 in Numeracy. All learners will need to possess the necessary motivation and determination to succeed on an intensive programme.
Progression
Successful learners can apply to university to undertake a degree.
