Our staff are all current practitioners, including artists, designers, performers and musicians and teams are supported by exceptional specialist facilities. Courses allow for dynamic continuous assessment so you always know how well you are progressing throughout your studies.
Here at Walsall College, in addition to well qualified and experienced creative staff, we have an excellent range of industry-standard Equipment, including large and medium format cameras, a large darkroom and digital postproduction facilities.
Walsall College is proud to boast of many links with industry and in particular a dynamic partnership with The New Art Gallery Walsall. The course offers opportunities for students to experience trips regionally, nationally and also to Europe or America and gain work experience with our industry contacts.
There are many career progression routes following your studies with us including opportunities in general areas such as Self-employment (Artist/Maker), Community Arts Worker, Cultural Heritage and more specifically in the world of fashion photography, journalism, documentary, industrial and newspaper photography, portrait and wedding photography.
