Level 3 Wisemore Campus 1 Year Full Time

This course includes all the relevant industrial techniques required by commercial salons. Your practical development during your course will take place in our prestigious Beauty Academy. There is also the opportunity to undertake a week’s work placement for selected candidates at Hoar Cross Hall. The selection criteria will depend on excellent attendance, meeting of assessment targets and an outstanding professional manner whilst on the course. You will have the chance to visit trade events and exhibitions where you will have the opportunity to speak to industry leaders and attend workshops, to further enhance your knowledge. All students are eligible for this trip. Private study is required as is entry into in house and external competitions.

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.

Progression

After successful completion of this course you can progression to our Foundation Degree in Salon Business Management in Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy. You may also choose to progress to university to study a degree.
