Level 3 Wisemore Campus 1 Year Full Time
This course is intended for anyone already working in the catering industry or individuals who wish to progress from NVQ Level 2 Diploma and therefore, raise the level of their professional qualification in Professional Cookery. You will gain experience whilst being assessed in the kitchens and the College’s training restaurant ‘Jerome’s’ (which will include evening work as the restaurant is open to the public). Private study is required.
Entry Requirements
You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.
Progression
After successful completion of this course, with additional work (bridging units) progression to you can progression to our Higher National Certificate Hospitality. You may also choose to progress to university to study a degree.
