Level 3 Wisemore Campus 1 Year Full Time
This course is for anyone wishing to enter the world of motor vehicle engineering or as a base to enter the world of wider mechanical engineering (such as heavy goods or public transport). The course consists of fifteen units. Units include: knowledge of health, safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment; skills in health, safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment, knowledge of support for job roles in the automotive work environment and skills in supporting job roles in the automotive work environment. Students will complete additional Functional Skills qualifications as part of the course. Assessment is continuous by practical assessment tasks, Gola online examinations and completion of a portfolio of evidence. Private study is required.
Entry Requirements
You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.
