Level 3 Wisemore Campus 2 Years Full Time

This course covers areas of employment such as airlines, travel agents, tour operators, visitor attractions and any customer service environment. It also acts as an entry requirement for those wishing to progress to higher education. You will gain a broad understanding of travel and tourism, develop skills, knowledge and understanding about travel and tourism; have an opportunity to apply learning in a practical way, develop skills which are valued by employers and further education, gain confidence by developing independent learning skills. A residential visit is usually undertaken within the course, which enables you to generate evidence for units such as: overseas representative, presentation and training skills and resolving emergencies and problems in tourism destinations. It is expected that ALL students will take part in this visit. Some financial support may be available to eligible students. Private study is required.
Please note – This course is for students with IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent), if only IELTS 4.5 (or equivalent) is held an additional 1 term and £500 will be payable.
All course fees are payable per year.

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.
