Level 3 Wisemore Campus 2 Years Full Time

The Walsall College Football Development Centre offers a great opportunity for talented young footballers who want to continue with their education while working towards footballing success. If you join the scheme, you will take part in a high level of football coaching while studying for nationally recognised. Example modules covered are: principles of anatomy and physiology in sport; assessing risk in sport, sports nutrition, sports coaching, sports injuries, sports facilities and operational management and sport and exercise massage. You must be aged between 16 and 18 on the 31st August in the year you wish to start the course. Private study is required.
Please note – This course is for students with IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent), if only IELTS 4.5 (or equivalent) is held an additional 1 term and £500 will be payable.
All course fees are payable per year.

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.

Progression

Completion of this course will allow you to be able gain work in the industry or alternatively continue with your qualifications by studying the HNC or a degree at university.
