Level 3 Wisemore Campus 2 Years Full Time

This course is designed to offer a broad range introduction to all aspects of popular music. Group work is an integral part of the course, developing interactive performance skills and encouraging participation in a wide range of musical styles. Digital recording technology will provide you with opportunities to master your own compositions or work collaboratively to form a group of performers. Visits by practising artists and industry experts support a much wider understanding of opportunities within the industry. You will keep up to date with your progress through regular tutorials and ongoing assessment of assignment work and special projects. There may be opportunities for a visit to Europe each year of the course. Private study is required.
Please note – This course is for students with IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent), if only IELTS 4.5 (or equivalent) is held an additional 1 term and £500 will be payable.
All course fees are payable per year.

 

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.
