Level 3 Wisemore Campus 2 years Full Time

The course aims to provide a sound background for a career in health and social care. The course combines both academic and practical aspects related to health and social care and can enable successful students to progress to higher education qualifications. The course is made up of core and optional units at each stage of the qualification and is equivalent to three A Levels. Three hundred mandatory placement hours in a suitable health and social care setting is also required. Private study is required.
Please note – This course is for students with IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent), if only IELTS 4.5 (or equivalent) is held an additional 1 term and £500 will be payable.

Course fee details:
£4,500 per year without a paid placement
£5,000 per year with a paid placement

All course fees are payable per year.

 

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.

Progression

After successful completion of this course you can progression to our Foundation Degree in Community Health and Social Care. You may also choose to progress to university to study a degree.
