Level 3 Wisemore Campus 2 Years Full Time

This course is designed to explore all aspects of Graphic Design from traditional design and page layout through to website design and image manipulation. Studies include photography, illustration, typography, packaging, advertising, editorial design, corporate identity, ideas generating and thinking, printmaking, computer graphics, web page design and 2D animation and 3D print and working on live briefs. You will have the opportunity to negotiate, write and realise a personal Final Major Design Project and will form the basis of your own exhibition at the end of the year. You will be able to use state of the art Apple Macs and facilities in our Roland DG Sign Making Academy. There may be opportunities to visit overseas destinations. Private study is required and the course offers opportunities to gain further qualifications in Functional Skills English, Maths and or ICT.
Please note – This course is for students with IELTS 5.0 (or equivalent), if only IELTS 4.5 (or equivalent) is held an additional 1 term and £500 will be payable.
All course fees are payable per year.

 

Entry Requirements

You must have a minimum of level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR) English qualification to apply for a student visa. To study a level 3 qualification you will need an IELTS score of 5.0 (or equivalent) and qualifications at the following levels e.g.
• India – Higher Secondary (12 Grade)
• Middle East – Secondary Diploma (Tawjihiyah)
• China/ Hong Kong – Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Africa – West African Senior School Certificate
You will be required to take part in an initial assessment to ensure that the course and level of study is suited to your ability.

Progression

After successful completion of this course you can progression to our Higher National Certificate or Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design. You may also choose to progress to university to study a degree.
