Level 3 Wisemore Campus 1 Year Full Time
This course offers a route for adults to enter the teaching profession. The pathway specific subjects cover Education Studies, English and Maths for Teachers, English Literature, Practical Skills in Teaching, History, Psychology and Sociology, and provide a thorough preparation for higher education. Assessment is through a combination of assignments and examinations. Homework or private study is required.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry qualifications, although you will need to be able to demonstrate at interview Level 2 competency in Literacy, a minimum of Level 1-2 in Numeracy and complete a written comprehension exercise. You will need to possess the necessary motivation and determination to succeed on an intensive programme and must have at least three years work/life experience following full time compulsory education.
Progression
You can progress onto a degree course in a variety of fields. Successful completion of the unit assessment is required for progression.
