Level 3 Wisemore Campus 35 weeks Full Time

This course is intended for anyone already working in the catering industry or individuals who wish to progress from NVQ Level 2 Diploma and therefore, raise the level of their professional qualification in Professional Cookery. You will gain experience whilst being assessed in the kitchens and the College’s training restaurant ‘Jerome’s’ (which will include evening work as the restaurant is open to the public). Private study is required.

 

Entry Requirements

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Professional Cookery or equivalent experience, interview, reference, initial assessment at a minimum of Level 2, dexterity test and good attendance record. It is essential that all applicants display a keen interest in taking their catering skills to a higher level.

Progression

With additional work (bridging units) progression to HND Hospitality Management (Culinary Arts) is possible. Employment following this qualification many students aspire to positions leading to supervisory posts within the hospitality industry.
