City & Guilds First Diploma Travel and Tourism

Level 2 Wisemore Campus 1 Year Full Time

This demanding and exciting course is for anyone interested in pursuing a junior career in the Travel & Tourism industry. It also acts as preparation to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism. The Level 2 Diploma is equivalent to 4/5 GCSEs at grade C, and therefore the workload and academic level reflects this. The structure of the award is such, that there are milestones within the course where you will be required to be fully up to date with work, enabling you to progress to the end and hopefully a successful qualification.Homework or private study is required.

 

Entry Requirements

An appropriate Level 1 qualification or have GCSEs of grades D and E. Additionally, you will need to sit an
initial assessment and attend a formal HTL School presentation and achieve a successful interview. If progressing to this course from another college course, a positive reference from tutors will also be required.

Progression

Progression to Level 2 Travel & Tourism is available, based on a “Merit” Foundation profile and a positive reference from the learners Level 1 college tutors. Progression to other Level 2 qualifications is possible.
