Level 4 Green Lane and Wisemore Campus 2 years Part Time

The programme is designed to meet the range of industry requirements and is aimed at individuals that wish to advance in the industry at a technical and management level, whilst offering progression routes to higher qualifications.

The Foundation Degree is offered jointly through our partnership agreement with University of Wolverhampton.

The course aims to provide a thorough academic grounding in the principal areas of:

• Construction project management
• Develop the ability to apply concepts
• Theory and operational practices in the management of construction projects.

The programme aims to engage the learner on the reflection of the effectiveness of their own skills, knowledge and understanding of Construction processes in a work related context.

Homework or private study is required.


 

Entry Requirements

By interview and initial assessment, plus your Record of Achievement. Alternatively progression from appropriate level 3 Diploma or Certificate or equivalent A levels. Other qualifications, maturity and industry experience will also be considered on a merit basis.

Progression

BSc Degree or Foundation Degree via our partnership agreement with the University of Wolverhampton and Birmingham City University or potential employment in the construction industry.

The Higher National Certificate in Construction is recognised as a stepping stone, for applicants that wish to potentially gain employment and work towards higher qualifications as surveyors, site engineers, civil engineers, site management, quantity surveyors, project managers, and technical support to professionals, building surveyors, purchasers, clerk of works and architects.
