The Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership is a comprehensive qualification providing you with the key management skills to enable you to operate effectively as a middle manager. It allows you to develop a range of competencies from Operational Management principles and practices to the development of resource control and use. The Diploma in Management & Leadership is recognised by the Chartered Management Institute as the benchmark qualification for full membership of the Institute and enables you to progress towards Chartered Manager status.

To achieve a Chartered Management Institute Diploma in Management & Leadership, you need to successfully complete units 5001, 5002, 5003, 5004 and 5006, plus any other 3 units to a total of at least 65 credits.

 

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification. However, candidates are likely either to hold a Certificate in Management and/or have several years experience at supervisory or first line management level. In overall terms your prior learning and experience must be of a comparable level, breadth and scope to suggest that you will be able to meet the challenges of the whole Diploma syllabus.
