Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology- Level 2

Level 2 Green Lane Campus 2 Years Part Time

The course is aimed at people who are looking to enter the Electrical industry. It is currently part of the Electrical Apprentice Framework, and is an excellent stepping-stone to gaining the full qualification.

City & Guilds 2330 L2 course briefly comprises of three mandatory units and one occupational specialism unit detailed below.
Unit 1- Working Effectively and Safely in an Electrotechnical Environment
Unit 2- Principles of Electrotechnology
Unit 3- Application of Health and Safety and Electrical principles
Unit 4- Installation (Building and Structure) the course delivery method is mixture of theory and practical sessions with approximately 50% of the course taking place in a workshop environment.

 

Entry Requirements

A-C in Maths, English and a Science Level 2 in the initial assessment test and interview.
