BTEC National Diploma in Interactive (Digital) Media

Level 3 Wisemore Campus 2 years

This course provides very practical studies across a wide range of interactive media applications. These include website design through to digital video editing and desk top publishing as well as projects which tackle advertising, marketing and the production of various promotional materials. It is suitable for applicants who are creative, inventive and, once have learned the technical skills just want to get on and work on real client briefs to enhance their CVs and get real work experience. The industry demands multi skilled graduates and this course enables learners to gain confidence. The three sections of the course support continuous development and assessment with no end of course exams. The National Award starts September and completes in March. The Certificate stage starts April and completes in the December with the Diploma stage running from January through to June. The full National Diploma spans two academic years of study. Homework or private study is required.

 

Entry Requirements

By interview, initial assessment and a portfolio of work, plus either: 4 GCSEs at grade A* - C, or BTEC First Diploma
or Certificate in a related subject, or Intermediate GNVQ in a related subject or appropriate work experience.

Progression

Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design or Media related programmes or employment.
