NVQ Level 3 Caring for Children and Young People
Level 3 Workplace 8 Months Part Time
This is a level 3 course for people employed in the children’s and social care sector.
The course runs over a period of 8 months. The course is vocational and is assessed in the workplace. There is no requirement to attend college on a specified day, although you may be asked to attend to see your assessor on a 1:1 basis. The trainer/assessors visit learners in their place of work to gather observational and other evidence, and to provide training.
Entry Requirements
Learners need to be employed in a children’s social care role. Foster carers, and workers in children’s homes for example.. Initial advice and guidance will determine whether learners are able to generate the required evidence. Learners must be aged 18+.
