BTEC First Diploma in Health and Social Care

Level 2 wisemore Campus 1 years Full Time

The course is practical and work related. It introduces learners to the employment area they have chosen and provides a sound foundation to enable learners to progress on to more advanced qualifications.

The course consists of 6 units, 3 core and 3 specialised. Homework or private study is required. The course includes a
compulsory work placement.

 

Entry Requirements

By interview and initial assessment plus either 2 GCSEs at grade D or equivalent, BTEC First Certificate in Caring or level kevel 1 equivalent at merit grade. All applicants will need a clean CRB check.

Progression

This course enables learners to prgress in to employment or onto a level 3 qualification
