Certificate in Management

Level 3 Wisemore Campus 30 weeks x 6 hours Part Time

This Programme is intended for candidates seeking to progress to or are already in a Team Leading, Supervisory, or First Line Management positions.

There are eight units covering:

• Developing yourself in a management role
• Making effective use of resources
• Planning to meet customer needs
• Managing information and communication
• Developing people and planning work
• Staffing and selection
• Contributing to quality management
• Improving team performance

Assessment will be continuous, based on 8 assignments, one of which is externally set and marked by the Institute.

 

Entry Requirements

Applicants will normally be in or anticipate being in senior supervisory management capacity. Your prior learning and experience must be a comparable level, breadth and scope to the Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading qualification and be such as to suggest that you will be able to meet the challenges of the whole Certificate in Management syllabus.

Progression

Candidates may progress to Chartered Management Institute Level 5 Diploma in Management.
