Advanced Retail

Level 3 Wisemore Campus / Workplace Approximately 12 - 18 months

An integrated programme providing an opportunity to follow a programme of study complementing employment within the Retail industry at an advanced level.

This framework will allow candidates to apply knowledge, understanding and skills to a national occupational level
required by employers, thus proving competency in their job role.

It has been designed for department, section and
team leaders, specialist sales advisors, owners/managers. It therefore allows the candidate to undertake one of the
following pathways: Sales Professional, Merchandising or Visual Management.

 

Entry Requirements

The selection process will include a basic Initial Assessment and an interview during which your suitability,
commitment and interest for the programme will be determined.

To be accepted onto the programme you will need to achieve Literacy and Numeracy at a minimum of Level 1 and it is preferable that you have GCSE grades
A - C in Maths and English or equivalent.

The suitability of your employer will be determined before you are accepted onto the programme. Your employer will need to demonstrate that they have the necessary Health and Safety arrangements in place to satisfy
legislative requirements, and that they are able to provide you with the full range of work to successfully complete
the Advanced Apprenticeship framework. If you do not have an offer of employment we may be able to assist
you, however this can not be guaranteed as demand for Apprenticeship places are high.
